New Hampshire Teaching License – Testing
If you want to get a New Hampshire teaching license, you will have to take the Praxis tests.
Before beginning your teaching program at college, you will have to take the Praxis Core basic skills test in reading, mathematics, and writing.
You will also need to take the Praxis subject tests for each of your subject areas of certification.
New Hampshire Teaching License – Test Scores
Test scores will be sent by ETS to the New Hampshire Department of Education, Division of Program Support, Bureau of Credentialing.
The New Hampshire Department of Education also accepts tests from other State Departments of Education that are equivalent to the Praxis exams
Acceptable comparable scores to the Praxis include the Graduate Record Exam (GRE) or Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT).
The National Board for Professional Teaching Standards (NBPTS) Certification is also accepted instead of the Praxis Assessments.
