After working in London as a legal consultant for a number of years, she received her PhD in English.

Having receiving her PhD, the author taught legal writing at university level in England for 18 years.

She taught the fundamentals of argumentative writing to LLB students.

She also oversaw the dissertation writing of LLM students.

She is now a freelance writer and director of Exam Prep Publishing.
